UK already done!!!

Short quick sum-up of last few weeks.....

overcast 14 °C

Haven't had to much time to keep updates, but here's a short sum-up;

Since last entry I headed for Fort Rush for couple days. Not to much to say about that except that you'll find Uk's highest mountain there; Ben Nevis! But the weather was quite crap, so couldn't do to much. Ended up going a 6 hour walk along the Great Glen way, not to much of a deal:P
After this i headed south again, and spent just a night stop over in Crienlarich, which I wish I went in first place. Nature was beautiful!!!! But since I didn't have more time I kept moving. Last day in Scotland I spent with my friend Josh again hanging in Edinburgh one day before I went down to England. I was supposed to stop by northern England, but had to just give it a miss out this time 'cause lack of time. So I headed straight for Bristol Where Stuart (another friend after visiting oz) picked me up and took me to his family in Glastonbury, where I spent my last weekend! Had such an amazing time, where he took me to see his friends, Glastonbury Tor, Stonehenge and a night out=)Thank you so much ffor letting me come and stay with you=)=)
So my plan was to go to Brighton, but in sted I found it easier and cheaper to head back to Bristol! There Aaron I worked with on a farm down in Australia were waiting for me. Since he'd just been home for few months, he was almost as new as me in the city so we did a proper walk around and went to a quiz with his friends. After 2 days there I headed for London to celebrait my birthday=) Had a really nice reunion birthday with Helena and Josefine from Sweden, Ollie and Sam (that I knew form Cairns)=) really nice way to turn 23=) Thanks for everything=)
Last day in Londin I spent shopping, basicly:P And in the evening I met Cathy that i met in Thailand=) The person I know with the funniest stories ever;) haha....
Well this was a very quick sum up for the rest of my stay in UK. Now I'm heading home and off again monday morning for Africa, so my next update I guess want be until I've done me voluenteer project down there=) wish me luck=)

In Scotland, giving a short Sum-up!!!

Northern Ireland, coastalwalk, day by day..... fun hah;)

overcast -14 °C

Hello again, sorry not being to good to follow my promises about all the updates;P And picture:P but it will come;) The Thing is: I choose to travel without my own laptop, that makes it more difficult to update, not to easy to find internet around with a ok speed. Almost killed the computer in Portrush for eating my money without giving anything back:P haha

After my last update in Dublin this has happen:

Headed up to Belfast for one day, where i did a quick walkabout to see the city, and what it had to offer, kind of liked Belfast better then Dublin, don't know why, but it seemed a bit nicer and more cleaned up! Same as any other city, Belfast had few things to see, but again still same, just different:P Hostel i stayed in was real friendly and warm welcome, and nice backpackers (Lagan Backpackers) ;) Def the most important:D In the evening I headed out to meet up with Andy, one of the last people i got to know in Australia, that I met in Byron Bay. He took me down to Newcastle south for Belfast, to see the murone mountains and to grab a small meal. For you Norwegians that never tried that before: pancakes with chicken, cheese and salad, different, but not that bad:P Nice meeting up with someone again, talking about memories and new life X)

Maggie May cafe om Belfast, crap food though<img class='img' src='http://www.travellerspoint.com/Emoticons/icon_sad.gif' width='15' height='15' alt=':(' title='' />

Andy gave me the advice to head up to Portrush for the next few days, to see the north coast of Ireland! So on the Wednesday the 24th i headed up to Portrush, a small little city on the coast, loved it for the start. Came to this really nice hostel, Portrush holiday hostel, with big ensuited dorms, and lack of people:P so first night I stayed with only 2 more in a 10 dorm, second night all alone:P haha
I headed for a 1,5 hour walk first day, along the beach and to Dunluce castle, the weather wasn't to good, a bit rainy, so when I came back i was quite frozen. Next day I woke up to a sunny, but not that warm day, and my goal was a 5hour walk! Walked from Giant's causeway to Carrick a rede rope brigde and it took me about 4.5 hours. Beautiful walk that started with great weather, but the last hour ended with pouring rain:P so didn't spend any time at carrick a rede rope brigde! I've seen it:P

Friday I headed out early to catch the first morning train back to Belfast to see if I could find a ferry over to Scotland. I did, and arrived a really nice quite guesthouse in Ayr. Loved it, and is highly recommended and cheap: Langley Bank guesthouse!! Got a relaxing day and night before I headed up to Glasgow yesterday! Here I met up with Josh, one of my first friends from the Australian backpacking year!! Loads of fun memories=D Still weird to see people where their from and more grown up:P hihi

anyway, gotta head on. Catching a train to Fort William!!! catch up later:)

See yah!!!!!!!!!

Dublin!!

day one, soon gone!!!

overcast 18 °C

Then it's started and here I am! Dublin is my first stop, and I think I've mostly been walking around myself today, a bit tired, and quite lost! But some luck do I need aswell=D You see, in Dublin there's nothing as names on the busstops, as far as i could see;P and then it might be a bit stupid of me not to look at any map before putting myself through this, but it's a bit of the excitement, or??:P But I manage to get on the right bus, and off at pretty much the closest stop i could to the hostel, just had to walk 15 min I think. =D
It's not much to tell about today really. I've just been walking around, went to Jameson Destillery and started my tour with a whiskyXD So today I will see myself finished with the west part of the city, think tomorrow I'll walk a bit more, and try to find the busstop that will take me to the train, again: no names on many busstops;P haha or i just can't see them=D
Gonna try to put out mostly pictures togheter with the blog, but doesn't have the access at the moment so will get it as soon as i can=)

Jameson =)

Jameson =)

Gotta be this for today, and I will post more when I've got something good to tell;)
